About Authentex Leather
Our story began in the mid-1990s as a small, two-man woodworking shop crafting upholstered rocking chairs. As demand grew, we expanded into multiple shops, continually refining our craftsmanship and product offerings. While fabric was our primary upholstery material early on, leather became increasingly available and in demand. By 2010, nearly half of our hardwood seating featured leather. Continued growth eventually brought four shops together under one roof.
In 2020, we began offering leather to local upholstery shops, where we recognized a need for high-quality leather in smaller, practical quantities. Just a year later, we introduced a 52-color leather ring designed for the retail industry, with our collection continuing to evolve based on feedback and trends.
With the growth of Buckeye Rockers’ Leather Division, we are now rebranding leather sales as Authentex Leather to provide a clearer and more defined recognition of our product.
Our mission is to provide exceptional leather with consistent quality, minimal waste, and dependable delivery—helping you confidently select colors that complement today’s furniture styles and interiors.
