Quality hardwood furniture begins with quality roots - these are the roots of the tree and the generations of great craftsmen. That is why we at A&L Furniture value the fact that we have been a family-owned and operated business in central PA since 2003.
We strive to showcase quality handcrafted American-made products with our talented American craftsmen and the American woods we use. Our hickory sticks are harvested from the forests of Eastern USA. They are then steamed and bent to the desired shape and then connected through traditional mortise and tenon joinery. From the southeastern regions of the US, we gather our knot-free Southern Yellow Pine to make pieces like our Versaloft line. Nothing beats the unique durability of American lumber. We encourage you to explore our Blue Mountain furniture line made out of Locust Hardwood if you're looking for durable and rot-resistant live edge pieces. Another durable American material we use is eco-friendly, recycled poly lumber. We use this weather-resistant option for our outdoor furniture.
The quality of our services extends beyond the making of our furniture. It extends to its distribution as well. Our furniture is shipped in boxes via FedEx Ground and can be drop-shipped anywhere in the US or delivered directly to your store. With each delivery, all the necessary hardware, instructions, and photos are included to make assembly efficient. Our products are shipped in 2 weeks or less.

I had ordered a hanging daybed from A&L furniture 2 years ago. My husband had some major health issues and we had to put the daybed in storage. We got it out to assemble it and found we were missing an entire box of parts. I called A&L to hopefully get the second box and they were amazing. Samuel called to tell me that he was going to ship my second box out that same day. It arrived in less that 24 hours!!! Now that's what I call A++ customer service.

We ordered 2 rocker chairs that are sturdy and look good on our porch. They shipped the day after we ordered them and arrived the day after that. They were a little tricky to put together, about an hour per chair, but we managed okay. Overall we are satisfied with the product and service.

The quality of their products is superb and is only surpassed by the overwhelming generosity and professionalism of the owner, Amos. This is an Old Order Amish run business. They travel by horse and carriage, use land line phones, have no internet or computers but have created a network with willing "English" partners to bring their products to everyone through the internet. All while staying true to their beliefs.
